Hi y'all!

My name is Katelin and I am the leading photographer of Kate Dacy Photography. My husband, Cody, is my right hand man on wedding days. Like most things in his life, he is a natural with a camera. Especially when it comes to finding those stunning detail shots and capturing people at their happiest point of conversation.

 

 I am a momma to two little boys, a wife to an engineer, an education major, a Texas A&M graduate, and I have a massive passion for hands on work be it photography or crafting. We move often due to my husband's work but I have completely fallen for the traveling life! We've gone from Texas > England > Wyoming > Hawaii and now we're in Alabama. England stole my heart; it will forever feel like home!

 

I'm an intuitive person and especially sensitive to peoples emotions. My passion in photography is natural light photographs, candid moments, and capturing moments that clients will value for years to come. We are now based out of the Huntsville, AL area but serve all surrounding areas.

My family is my "why". My husband and our two sons, Bowen & Liam, are my biggest supporters and the reasons I stay inspired to push my capabilities to new levels. Cody is so much of a supporter, he hops right in whenever I need another pair of eyes or a second camera. We were in college for a long-ish period of time which meant we had more time than most to figure out where we wanted our creativity to be channeled. I had always pushed aside my desire to shoot photography until Cody said that I should just do it. One thing lead to another, and now here we are!

I absolutely love all of life's big moments especially if it means working with seniors, couples, brides, weddings, and babies. You can bet that I'll do just about anything to make your photography dreams come to life. Each situation, person, and story is different so never hesitate to reach out- I'll always be willing to find a way to work with you. Each session is authentic, unique, and genuine because I make it a goal to bring out the best in every person and capture every emotion you have in this very moment.
